New Roots
In biology, a cap or caliptra is the cover that surrounds the apex of the root and is used by plants to drill into the soil. NUEVAS RAÍCES alludes to the same function of drilling the ground that takes place in oil exploration and exploitation.
Technical description: Composition composed of a vinyl drawing on a wooden sheet and seven oil drills. Measurements of the piece: 4x4 meters (sides) x 35 centimeters (height of the drill bits). Minimum measurements of the exhibition space: 7 x 7 meters x 2 meters (height).
